En la actualidad, la mayor\u00eda de los productores tratan el agua para quitar o a\u00f1adir las sales y minerales que necesitan para producir una cerveza con el car\u00e1cter que buscan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>L\u00daPULO<\/strong>: El l\u00fapulo es una planta trepadora silvestre que da a la cerveza su aroma y amargor tan caracter\u00edstico. Adem\u00e1s, sirve para protegerla y conservarla, impidiendo el desarrollo de microorganismos nocivos. Existen distintas variedades de l\u00fapulo, que tienen distintos grados de aroma y amargor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LEVADURA<\/strong>: Las levaduras se a\u00f1aden al mosto en el proceso de fermentaci\u00f3n y transforman los az\u00facares en alcohol y anh\u00eddrido carb\u00f3nico. Las levaduras dan a la cerveza unas caracter\u00edsticas especiales y distintas a las de otros productores. Debido a este ingrediente, las cervezas se dividen en dos grandes familias: las Ale, de fermentaci\u00f3n alta, en las que las levaduras act\u00faan a altas temperaturas y adem\u00e1s se acumulan en la superficie del mosto (en la parte alta); y las Lager, de fermentaci\u00f3n baja, en donde las levaduras act\u00faan a baja temperatura y se depositan en el fondo de los tanques de fermentaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Todos estos ingredientes hacen que la cerveza tenga unas caracter\u00edsticas peculiares que debemos conocer.
